Walking around the Siennese
Crete Land or along the hills of the Orcia Valley is a wonderful experience:
colours, shapes, trees and dirt roads all take form in a multitude of
different compositions which recall everythime my attention. Putting
them into a photo makes eveything much more enjoyable.
You could have great imagination and composition skills,
which all drive you to make the photo before you press down the shutter,
but never will the photo look exactly as you had imagined on your mental
composition. That is the magic of photography, I think. And of this strip
of land.
Tuscany Landscapes is a selection of my photograps
organized in seven different portfolios. Photographs
shown here were taken between 2002 and 2006. Many photographs are scans
of Velvia 50 and Provia 100 slide film while others were taken using
an high resolution digital camera.
